The weather has been kinder and I so look forward to weekends of walking around our neighborhood. I love to gawk at the beautiful houses at Mt. Taylor but it is the old character houses that makes me want to win the lotto now (as in right now). I am an old soul. I heart the houses with ‘kaydas’ (porch) ala victorian era. It brings me back to my childhood where we would sit on the porch and just people watch. I want to grow old living in a house with a kayda and sit on a rattan drinking hot tea.

The floors of my dream house would be wood and will have all the interiors from Diane Keaton’s Hampton beach house from the movie ‘Something’s Gotta Give.

I want to have a room like this. A study facing a window.
and Oh her kitchen was perfect. I don’t mind spending my weekends cleaning this house.
… a living room with huge windows that looks out to the backyard.
Tomorrow, I shall prepare myself for an interesting walk. I have signed up for a Fun Walk for next month too. I will walk and feast on the structural eye candies along the route.
And for a few miles of walking, I will imagine being Diane Keaton, a playwright being pursued by Keanu Reeves but ends up with Jack Nicholson. Or perhaps I could be the Italian Franchesca Johnson (Meryl Streep) of the Bridges of Madison County.
Let it be known. I daydream when I walk. =) and I really go overboard… specially with the houses that sets the inspiration for my “dream” travels.

I wish and pray that one day you’ll have your dream house Chi. I hope I get to sleep in one of your rooms for just one night.
By the way, it’s true gyud diay noh that NZ is not accepting second coursers. I went to an agency and inquired. Nag recession sad daw dinha.
mai, hangtud karon sige pa ug petition nga ang mga second coursers will be given a chance to come in to nz. yes, nag recession diri but not in the health sector. si roland works in health services ug nag 2nd job na gyud siya kay daghan kaayo manawag ngita ug carer. nz is the home of old people. ilang majority dinhi wangtiguls. they are in constant need of carers gyud. roland enjoys his work and mo take ra siya ug 30 minutes cooking for an old lady and giving her medicine, then off he goes to another client to assist in the bath (pero lalaki ha). hehehe. you might want to come here and suroy. i’m sure you will like it here too. matuyok ra ang siyudad in less than an hour. hehehe. murag colon.

I love your dream house! I’d love that for myself too–as a vacation house! I want to keep my main residence more contemporary, but my vacation houses (plural na ha!) more victorian-type, southern, cozy and classy like yours! I daydream too, you know! Hehe… Oh, if only I win the lottery, I’d buy me one of those and I’d buy one for you too! Hehe…
ikaw gyud ang mo interior decorate liz. you don’t need to win the lotto, kaya kaayo na ni charles to provide.
btw, i went a different route on my walks yesterday and had been more adventurous. i found more beautiful dream like houses. oh, i wish i could show it to you. i did not bring my mobile pa-et. one day, i’ll capture them. dili ba kaha ko ana madakpan sa?

I got to agree that house is dreamy. But if I could afford a house like that, I guess I could afford a cleaning lady even if it’s only once a week. Keep on dreaming, someday it will come true!
hanggang pangarap nalang siguro ito, tita. or i will settle for a nipa hut along the shore line in bohol.
